Midpoint Reflection

Day by day the internship is getting bad, because there is no one who really supervised us. Nothing is similar about the culture of the school environment versus the workplace environment. The new skills that I learned are how to communicate with others, help people with their work, organize office materials, and the computer skills. I think most of those are transferable skills, but the computer skill is the most important one for me . I have good relationship with two of my mentor Aroon and Quak, I really like to work with them, Mr. Quak (One of those mentor) me and Morshed we both like to work with him because he always teach something, no matter how he going to teach that lesson. The first six or seven week we work with him and when he is there we loved to work because we know that we are going to learn new stuff from him. Also he know how to teach others or how to respect others, but there is two mentor, I think they don’t know how to teach other or how to respect others and I really don’t like to work with those people who don’t know how to respect others. I gained the verbal communication skills in my internship site, also the writing communication skills, because in my internship site we have to answer the phone also write down the phone number and the name of the person they want to talk to. Also we have to work with the Microsoft word and make group on myspace, hi5, facebook, bebe, and many more website. I have to faced with a lots of challenges in my internship site, some of the challenges that I faced on that side is disrespecting and lie. I really don’t know how I over come them.

I love to accomplish many goals during the remaining five weeks of the internship. some of the goals that I love to accomplish is, lnew vocabulary, learn more about internet, organize, learn more English. But I don’t know if I will be able to accomplish my goals or not, anyway I will try my best to accomplish all the goals that I really want to. By working with IAAC I learn that people should be responsible for the work they are doing, don’t be late, finish the work that you are working on, help other people. Also I learned that you better lie with people, why I say that, because the first week me, two other intern and one mentor was in the office. Me and other two intern was packing their stuff and the mentor was doing something on the computer. Our boss Ms. Aroon came to office, she saw some trash on the floor, she said “four of you sitting there doing nothing, I cant live in the trash.” you know what the mentor said, she said “I told them to clean the floor.” We was so surprised, because he didn’t tell us to do anything , he just lie with the boss. Also you should disrespect sometimes when people don't respect you.
